So it took me awhile to get back to this, but I am now so it’s okay. While I appreciate the fact that you respect and have traveled for the Braves, I am still extremely upset about you liking the Yankees. I am continuing to be upset about it.

I love the Yankees too!!! How can you walk into Yankee stadium for the first time & watch them win in the bottom of the 9th and not become a fan?? Forget the fact that I was born in NY…those Yankees will always have my heart :)

well now, wait… if there is any other baseball team that i respect, admire, and traveled across country to see… it’s the braves… and so you know… it was the day greg maddux signed a 5 year deal… he wasn’t even in the ball park and got a standing O.

Let me be honest here. I thought we had something really special, you would write blogs, I would read them for pleasure during my summer classes (and regular semester classes for that matter), and now this?? Being born in Atlanta, I am a devout Atlanta Braves fan. The only team in all of baseball that I can say I truly hate is the Yankees. After reading this blog, I have to say, I hate you by default. You are ruined to me, forever. You have lost more than my respect, you have lost your cool-factor and your sex appeal. Ouch.

Love the blog. Love that you’re a Yankees fan.
Don’t hide it, dog. Flaunt it. It’s not your fault you have impeccable taste.

And two other things.
First, I bumped uglies with that chick in the picture up top. Suffice it to say that if you think those arms are nice, you should see her kitten.
Second, your dad made you the Yankees because he wanted you to be Number One. It’s not easy being the best, but the view from the top sure is nice.
You know that now- and you have your Dad and me to thank.

Oh, and I’ve talked to Jackie Robinson about a hundred times. Did you know that he wanted to legally change his name to Jeets Jeter Robinson?
True story.
